Charles LEVIER (1920-2003) "Nude with flowers. Oil on canvas. Signed lower left. Titled and countersigned on the back. 61 x 51 cm. Charles LEVIER is a Corsican artist of Franco-American inspiration, whose style is reminiscent of Bernard BUFFET, with whom he worked. A native of Ajaccio, he is the son of the famous watercolorist Jean-Jérôme LEVIE (1809-1882).
