Cavalry saber with shell. Handle with copper and brass filigree. Brass pommel with silk reinforcement. Single-branch guard with openwork shell reinforcement. Single-edged curved blade with 15 cm counter-edge. Nickel-plated finish, contemporary with the manufacture of the sword. Brass scabbard engraved with "Liberté, La Loi, Le Roi" in a laurel wreath. Good condition. Second half of 18th century. Blade length 83.5 cm. - Total length: 98.4 cm.
