Benoit-Louis HENRIQUEZ (1732-1806) after Martin DROLLING (1752-1817) Three-quarter bust portrait of Pascal Paoli. Etching and burin engraving. Inscribed "Pascal Paoli né à Rostino en Corse" in the center margin. Bottom left: "Peint à Paris, l'an second [1790] de la liberté par M.in. Drelling". Bottom right: "Gravé la même année par B.L. Henriquez, de l'Académie Royale de Peinture et de celle se St Petersbourg". Bottom center: "A Paris chez Drelling rue du temple, vis-à-vis celle de Montmorency, n°46". Board size: 34.5 x 24.5 cm. Very good overall condition (tiny, scattered, barely visible foxing, tiny tear at left edge, paper taped Marie-Louise style). In an unglazed molded wooden frame.
